10 MINUTES: #9 CORE VALUES: PERSEVERANCE
Many great golfers and athletes have come back after injury or defeat to win championships. One thing they all have in common is they never gave up. If you hit a bad shot don't get mad or quit; always keept trying to get better.

GOLF TERMS: #9 STRONG OR WEAK GRIP
This refers to hand position on the club. For right hand players, turn them to the right for strong and turn them left for weak.

RULES & ETIQUETTE #9:
Make sure you keep golf bags and carts off the greens.

20 MINUTES: #9 FULL SWING-DRILLS
Review.

15 MINUTES: #9 CHIPPING
Lay down a club to chip over.

15 MINUTES: #9 PUTTING
Distance drill: player receives points for making the ball reach the hole but not go two feet past the hole where a club is laid on the green.

CLOSING: The only way to get better at anything is to keep trying. If a friend said you can't do something, don't give up. Keep trying. If you want to achieve, you must work and you can persevere.
